AMA Dumpsters was founded in 2018 by long time friends Josh King & Eric Anderson as they were in search for a better way to contain trash on construction sites. Eric had spent the better of the past decade in erosion control, and realized that there was a better way than nailing OSB together. Not only was Eric tired of replacing the OSB dumpsters after every storm, he was also tired of replacing trees that couldn't survive when planted where the OSB boxes were placed.
Inevitably, he would find that he was replacing tree's and sod's, no coincedence, where the OSB boxes were. Why? Because as the rain ran over the trash, it ran over adhesives, paints & other chemical agents and then into the soil below, which eventually choked out the plants.
What did they do about it?
They worked together to come up with a better solution. They tried metal...too heavy for most equipment to dump, rusted out from the acidity of the trash, and was difficult to move around the job site for different trades. Eventually they created their own proprietary dumpster that was lighter, resistant to chemical corrosion, and extremely durable. Along with this, they created a massive environmentally friendly solution that not only has saved countless tree's, but also prevented contamination of local ponds, rivers & streams.
